JAMIE STEVENS – FATE OF THE MODERN ARCHITECT

Remixes by Egbert & Steve Ward

An image defined by the simplification of the form and elimination of unnecessary detail. A thought process that creates landscape and renders space. An idea. Whispering in the ear of ambition. Fending off the jester of doubt. Seeking a path of rendition as it composes the blueprint of the mind’s impression. Crowded, the weight of conformity plays its card.

Reaching, inspirations of the past offer their hand. And though landmarks of their time, their voices speak like ghosts to guide along the way. For time is the one true constant as all origins return and yet must evolve. The daylight fades, an end begins, as tomorrow’s grace evokes a new idea. But despite the destined, the final piece must be found, must be placed, to satisfy the mind’s obsession. For this is the way for all who create and all that’s created.

This is the Fate of the Modern Architect.
